On August 16, 2021 (Monday) Kian Soon Mechanical Components Philippines officially moved into their new fully renovated office and warehouse. Located inside the Philippines Economic Zone Authority at Rosario Cavite, the team is strategically situated to service and accept visits (when the situation re-allows it) from key customers.
The opening was officiated by Rev. Father Herald Mart Arenal, with a blessing ceremony that was conducted by social distancing requirements. The traditional blessing ceremony is an important part of business in the Philippines as it involves ritual prayers to request good luck and success for the organization.
“It took us almost a year and a half to complete the company registration processes, though challenging, was well worth it. Our new presence in the area will allow us to faster and more effectively reach our customers - whom we remain committed to serving with excellence,” comments Marvin Gonzales, one of the key Sales Engineers at Kian Soon Philippines.
This opening is a milestone achievement for the company since it marks Kian Soon Philippines’s growth in terms of numbers of personnel and its business needs. The larger area shall provide the staff with a greatly improved working environment, as well as the potential for expansion in the future.
Leoven Manzo Magtibay, Sales and Business Development Manager, currently leads the team. “Looking back, I am extremely proud of what we have managed to achieve in a few short years. The company has grown from a singular sales office to the fastest growing sister company in the SEA region.
We are continuing to grow aggressively, with our 2021 mid-year reporting sales already surpassing the entirety of our performance in 2020. I genuinely believe that the people are the greatest asset to the company. Thus, we have plans to onboard a highly competitive workforce to sustain and eventually outpace our current trend of development.” comments Leoven.
Due to the current state of affairs, travel is restricted and thus, only the local team was onsite during the grand opening ceremony. In normal times, the Regional Head of Functions and corporate Management Representatives would also be present to grace the ceremony.

Notice on Operations during the Pandemic (Covid-19)
As Essential Services, Kian Soon continues to serve our customers in a timely and orderly fashion, as we had, during the previous lockdown restrictions. The company’s key focus is and will always be on safety, for both our staff and our partners.
As such, with the exception of Logistics & QC, all other departments will function on a split team basis with staggered work hours and 2-3 working days on WFH arrangements weekly.
